Meet Dana Katz

Dana Katz is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist with over two decades of clinical experience, including more than 17 years specializing in lymphatic care throughout Orange County.

She received her Occupational Therapy degree from Florida International University and completed advanced training through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, including certification in the internationally recognized Vodder technique. Dana provides skilled manual lymphatic drainage and complete decongestive therapy, supporting post-surgical recovery, oncology care, lymphedema, lipedema, chronic swelling, and complex lymphatic conditions through personalized in-home treatment.

Previously, Dana served as Director of Lymphatic Services at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Southern California, where she led specialized lymphatic programs for a complex veteran population. She has worked closely with plastic surgeons to support recovery following body contouring and facial procedures, with advanced training in head and neck lymphedema care to address facial and cervical swelling.

Her clinical background also includes vascular and oncology-related swelling, venous and phlebo-lymphedema, and women’s health-related lymphatic conditions. Dana has developed comprehensive lymphedema programs for surgical practices, helping establish effective protocols for both post-operative recovery and long-term lymphatic management.

Dana’s approach combines clinical expertise with calm, individualized care, helping patients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout every stage of healing.
