The frequency of lymphatic massage depends on your specific surgery and recovery needs. Generally, we recommend: 2-3 sessions per week for the first two weeks post-surgery. One or two sessions per week for the following 2-3 weeks, and then maintenance sessions as needed.

Is postoperative lymphatic drainage painful?
Post-operative lymphatic drainage is very gentle, using light pressure. Most find treatment to be relaxing and soothing. A postoperative treatment session should never involve pain.
